Irene Peters was a senior subject editor for JP Boyd on Family Law, jointly responsible for the pages on Property & Debt in Family Law Matters between 2013 and 2014. She is a 1988 graduate of the UBC Faculty of Law and has dedicated her career to serving the northern communities of BC, from her practice in Prince Rupert until 2006, and now Prince George. She is a former adjudicator with the Employment Standards Tribunal, but now focuses entirely on family law. She is a devoted advocate for women in her northern British Columbia.
