Sandy Thomson is a senior subject editor for JP Boyd on Family Law, and is jointly responsible for the pages on Resolving Family Law Problems out of Court. Sandy is a founding Partner at Murchison Thomson & Clarke LLP. His practice is focused on family law and personal injury law in addition to general civil and criminal litigation.
Sandy has a BA in psychology and obtained his LL.B. from UBC in 1981. Since his call to the Bar in 1982 Sandy has been an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and the New Westminster Bar Association, having served as President of the latter. Sandy has been a guest lecturer for the Law Society’s Professional Legal Training Course for articling Law students and donates his time to the Newton Advocacy Centre giving legal advice in the area of family law several times a year. |
