| service_description = The '''Community Legal Assistance Society''' supervises (“CLAS”) provides primarily “test-case” advice and participates in a number of target programs. They are the Community Law Program, Disability Law Program, Mental Health Law Programrepresentation for people with disability, BC Human Rights Clinic, Community Advocate Support Lineemployment insurance, poverty and Workers’ Compensation problems. Services are limited to cases that could advance the Law Students' Legal Advice Programlaw or policy in these areas. Through these programs the Community Legal Assistance Society CLAS also provides advice and occasional representationat the BC Review Panel to persons detained under the BC Mental Health Act.
