If a court proceeding has been started against you in the Supreme Court, you are the ''respondent'' in the proceeding. The person who started the court proceeding is the ''claimant''. If you disagree with any of the orders the claimant is asking for, you must prepare a form called a ''Response to Family Claim'' in Form F4. If there are any orders you want to ask for, you can prepare a form called a ''Counterclaim'' in Form F5. These are special forms required by the [http://canlii.ca/t/8mcr Supreme Court Family Rules].
